*Add More Maps [#m5ff072e]
Now that we have the first map, let's make another one.

**Add a Map [#d76ee575]
Open the Map List Palette on the left side of the screen and select the Add button.
Select OK when the Create Map dialog opens.

A new map (Map_2) appears in the Map List and the Map Editor shows the newly added map.

Note that in the Map List, a map with a map name in red has a starting point placed on it.
When you start test play after editing a map, you may find yourself saying, “Hey, it doesn't start on the map I just made!” then check to see if the starting point has been placed on that map.

***Map Resizing [#z9d8f03b]
You can also resize the map at the point in the Create Map dialog that appears when you add a map, but let's change the size of the map once it is created.
Open the Map Settings Palette on the right side of the screen and select the “Basic” tab.
In the “Map Size” section, enter 20 for “X” and ‘Y’ respectively, then press the “Apply Terrain Texture Settings and Map Size Changes” button below it.
The map has contracted to a size of 20x20.

The "Anchor" setting determines which part of the map stays fixed when resizing it.
Let's resize the map back to 25x25 again.

-Map Shape
In Bakin, you can create not only square maps but also vertically or horizontally long maps.
Try different values for “X” and ‘Z’ in “Map Size” in the Map Settings Palette that you have just changed.

**Edit the Map [#g786f61e]
Edit the map you have created.
Let's start by creating a map like the one shown in the image below.
1) In the Stamp Palette, go to BasicSet > Outdoors > Buildings, and place the Dungeon Entrance stamp at the back of the map.
2) Create a deep valley in front of the dungeon entrance.
3) Make the terrain flat enough so that the player can walk from one edge of the map to the deep valley, and from the opposite side of the valley to the Dungeon Entrance.

Please feel free to change the locations other than the red framed zones in the image as you wish.

You can adjust post-effects in the “Rendering Settings” tab of the Map Settings Palette,
or set BGM and Environmental Sound from the Basic tab in the same palette.
(Note: In the rest of this tutorial, we won’t cover post-effects or sound settings when creating new maps. Feel free to configure them as you like.)

Now we have a second map.
The next step is to use events to allow the player character to go back and forth between the two maps created.
