Configuration†
Configure the basic environment settings for creating games with Bakin, such as changing the language used and specifying a working folder.
Language†
Switch languages. Currently, only Japanese and English are supported.
In-Game Font Style†
Specify the font to be used in the game you are creating.
- Use the Standard Font
Use RPG Developer Bakin's standard font.
- Choose from the Installed Fonts (Depending on the Execution Environment)
Specify the font to be used in the game you are creating from those installed in your PC.
- Use a rendering method that supports multi-language fonts (High Rendering load)
Game File Save Location†
Specify the folder where you want the game files to be saved.
Other Tool Settings†
- Reset Advice Window Display State
Allow the advice windows to reappear.
- Window Initialization
Reset the window position displayed on the map editor to its initial state.
- Palette Initialization
Reset the palette position to its initial state.
- System Report
If you encounter any problems while using Bakin, please send this system report to our support along with a report of the problem.
- Do not display added contents when adding assets
Specify pm or off for the message that appears when an asset is added in the asset picker.
- Use Quick Toolbar
Display a quick toolbar near the cursor.
- Pin the Quick Toolbar
Turn on/off the function to pin the Quick Toolbar to the position where it was moved by dragging.
- Do not display graphic resource error dialog
Turn on or off the error dialog that appears when there is a problem with the 3D model used in the game file.
- Display Cursor Position Information Window
Turns on/off the ability to display the cursor position, terrain, and the name of the object at the cursor position.
- Terrain Selection Display
Select how you want the terrains to appear when you select them.
Auto Backup†
Automatically backs up game files. The timing for saving can be selected from "When Switching Maps", "When Closing Dialog", or a specified "Time".
