“RPG Developer Bakin” will celebrate its first anniversary since the release of its full version on August 28, 2026.
Currently, the background of the Bakin official website’s homepage features artwork images submitted by users as part of our previous call for submissions.
To celebrate the first anniversary of the full version’s release, and to give you an opportunity to share the creations you have made with Bakin with others, we are holding the Second “RPG Developer Bakin” Official Website Background Artwork Call for Submissions! We hope to continue decorating the official website with your wonderful creations.
Submitted artwork images may be used as background images on the homepage and may also be featured as examples of user artwork on the official website and other official channels.
We would love to see screenshots that showcase the appeal of your creations, including your favorite landscapes and cityscapes, battle scenes, event scenes featuring characters, and more, all created with Bakin.
Your work may be complete or unfinished, and it may be previously published or unpublished.
We look forward to seeing the diverse and wonderful creations you have made with Bakin!
For this campaign, you can submit your work either by posting it on X or through the dedicated submission form.
You can participate by posting your artwork images on X and sharing your creations with other users, or you can submit your work directly through the submission form without posting it on social media.

Post a screenshot of a creation made with Bakin on X with both of the following designated hashtags:

- If your submission is selected as a candidate for publication, the official Bakin X account will contact you individually via DM or another appropriate method. You will then be asked to provide the required information and agree to the User Artwork Image Usage Terms through the dedicated submission form.
- If you would like to submit multiple images, please make a separate post for each screenshot.
- Even if you submit four or more posts, only up to three submissions per person will be accepted.
- Submit Directly Through the Submission Form
If you do not wish to post your work on X, you can submit it directly through the dedicated submission form.- Information required for submission:

- The dedicated submission form uses Google Forms. You must be signed in to a Google account to upload images.
- Each person may submit up to 3 images in a single submission. If multiple submissions are made using the same account, only the first submission will be considered.

- Each person may submit up to 3 artwork images in total across both X and the submission form.
- If you submit the same image both by posting it on X and through the submission form, it will be treated as a submission of the same artwork.
About Submitted Images
- Image Content
- The image must be a screenshot of a creation made with “RPG Developer Bakin”.
- The work may be complete or unfinished, and it may be previously published or unpublished.
- The image must not contain large amounts of text such as logos or taglines.
(Text included as part of the user interface within the game screen is acceptable.) - The image should convey the content and world of the creation, such as landscapes, battle scenes, or event scenes featuring characters.
(We welcome a wide variety of unique creations regardless of genre.) - The image must not infringe upon any third party’s rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, or portrait rights.
(Various assets included in Bakin and DLC assets for Bakin may be used.) - The content must not violate public order or morality.

- Resolution: 1920 × 1080 px or higher recommended
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9
- File Format: JPEG (high quality or higher), PNG
- File Size: Up to 10 MB per file
- Be sure to press the F4 key in the game to switch to fullscreen mode before taking your screenshot. Please also take care to avoid unintended elements such as the mouse cursor appearing in the screenshot.
- You may still submit an image even if the image you post on X does not meet the recommended specifications. However, if your image is selected for use on the official website or elsewhere, you may be asked to provide a high-resolution version and/or an image with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Publication and Use of Submitted Images
- Publication of Submitted Images
- For images submitted via X or the submission form, we will check whether they meet the conditions specified in these submission guidelines and whether all information necessary for publication has been provided. Once this review is complete, submitted images may be used as background images on the official website’s homepage or for other purposes.
- If we are unable to contact you, if you fail to provide the required information by the specified deadline, if there are deficiencies in your submission, or if we are unable to complete the necessary rights verification, your image may not be selected for publication.
- Please note that not all submitted images will necessarily be published. We are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding whether an image will be published or the reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.
- Use of Submitted Images
- Submitted images may be used for the following purposes:
- Background images on the homepage of the official “RPG Developer Bakin” website
- Featuring user artwork on the official website
- Featuring user artwork on RPG Developer Bakin’s official social media accounts
- Featuring user artwork in Steam News and similar channels
- Other media related to the promotion of “RPG Developer Bakin”
- Images may be cropped, resized, or adjusted in terms of brightness, color, or other aspects to accommodate the specifications and design of the medium in which they are used.
- No compensation or other payment will be provided for the use of submitted images.
- Submitted images may be used for the following purposes:
Important Notes
- If you submit your work via X, please follow the official Bakin X account or otherwise ensure that you are able to receive DMs from the official Bakin X account. Users whose submissions are selected as candidates for publication will be contacted via DM from the official account.
- To use a submitted image on the official website or other official channels, you must agree to the User Artwork Image Usage Terms below.
- If you submit your work by posting on X, we will contact you individually when we intend to use your image on the official website or other official channels, and you will be asked to agree to the User Artwork Image Usage Terms through the dedicated submission form.
- If you submit your work directly through the submission form, you must agree to the User Artwork Image Usage Terms at the time of submission. Please review the terms within the form and check the box indicating your agreement.
- Please submit only images of creations made by you or creations for which you hold the necessary rights.
- If your submitted image contains third-party assets, please make sure that those assets are permitted for use on the official website, official social media accounts, and other official channels.
- If your submission contains materials created using generative AI, please comply with the terms of use of the service and materials used.
- Images that infringe upon the copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, or other rights of third parties may not be submitted.
- If there are deficiencies in your submission or we determine that there are issues concerning rights, your image may be excluded from consideration for publication.
- We cannot respond to individual inquiries regarding when images will be published on the official website or other official channels.
- Even after publication, the content may be modified or removed due to content review, rights-related issues, or other reasons.
- Any personal information provided during submission will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
◆ User Artwork Image Usage Terms ◆
[ Introduction ]
Applicants (hereinafter referred to as “Applicants”) who submit entries to the Second “RPG Developer Bakin” Official Website Background Artwork Call for Submissions (hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign”), operated by SmileBoom Co.Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), are required to read and agree to the following User Artwork Image Usage Terms (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) before submitting their entries.
Applicants who are minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before participating in the Campaign.
If you submit your entry directly through the submission form, please review these Terms and check the box indicating your agreement within the form before submitting your entry.
If you submit your entry by posting on X (formerly Twitter), please review these Terms before submitting your entry. If the submitted image is selected for use on the Company’s official website or other official channels, the Company will contact the Applicant individually and obtain their agreement to these Terms again through a dedicated form.
[ Scope of Use ]
Submitted images may be used as banners, promotional images, or other promotional materials on the official website and official social media accounts of RPG Developer Bakin (hereinafter referred to as the “Tool”), including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube, as well as in other promotional activities.
The Applicant grants the Company a royalty-free license to use the submitted image for the purposes set forth in these Terms, without any geographic or time limitations.
[ Modification of Images ]For promotional purposes, the Company may crop, resize, adjust the brightness or color, or otherwise modify submitted images to the extent necessary to accommodate the specifications or design of the medium in which they are displayed. By agreeing to these Terms, the Applicant consents in advance to such modifications and use.
[ Compensation ]
No compensation or other payment will be provided for the use of submitted images.
[ Selection and Use ]
The Company will determine, at its sole discretion, whether submitted images will be used. If an image submitted via X is selected for use, the official account of the Tool will contact the Applicant individually. Applicants who submit their images directly through the submission form may also be contacted if additional information or confirmation is required.
Please note that only selected images will be used. Applicants will not be individually notified if their images are not selected, and the Company is unable to respond to inquiries regarding whether an image has been selected for use.
[ Rights and Representations ]
The Applicant represents and warrants that they have all necessary and lawful rights to the image they submit and that the image does not infringe upon any rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, or other rights.
Submitted images must not contain content that violates public order or morality. The Company may refrain from using any image that it determines to be inappropriate.
If any dispute or issue concerning rights or content arises between the Applicant and a third party, the Applicant shall be responsible for resolving the matter at their own expense and responsibility, and the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever in connection with such dispute or issue.
[ Handling of Applicant Information ]
If an image is selected for use, the Applicant’s name and the title of the work provided through the submission form may be displayed together with the image on the Tool’s official website, official social media accounts, and other official channels.
Personal information obtained from Applicants will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
[ Removal of Published Images ]
If an Applicant wishes to have a published image removed, they must contact the Company through the official website’s contact form using the email address provided at the time of submission. Please note that it may take some time for the Company to process such requests.
[ Changes to or Cancellation of the Campaign ]
The Company may change the content of the Campaign or cancel the Campaign due to unavoidable circumstances.
[ Disclaimer ]
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from participation in the Campaign, the publication or non-publication of submitted images, any changes to or cancellation of the Campaign, or any other matters related to the Campaign.
[ Changes to These Terms ]
These Terms may be changed without prior notice. Any revised Terms will take effect when they are posted on the Company’s official website or other official channels.
Please note that submitted images may continue to be used after these Terms have been revised.
[ Governing Law and Jurisdiction ]
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Sapporo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the interpretation or performance of these Terms.
[ Language ]
These Terms have been prepared in Japanese. If a translated version of these Terms is prepared and any discrepancy arises between the Japanese version and the translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
