    • The plugin must be created by you.
    • The plugin must be hosted and published on a platform that you manage yourself.
(Examples: itch.io, Steam Workshop, BOOTH, Gumroad, GitHub, Google Drive, personal blogs, etc.)
Please note that plugins distributed only via Discord, social media posts, or temporary file upload services that do not provide stable access to a wide audience will not be accepted.

Notes

Examples of suitable destinations for plugins (sites that you can manage and distribute)
  • Steam Workshop
    • Zipped event plugins (.csrbr) can be uploaded from Steam Workshop Bakin's TOP menu “Steam Workshop”. For more information, click here:Manual (Wiki)
  • itch.io (Distribution platform for indies)
  • BOOTH (Digital sales site. Free distribution is also available)
  • Gumroad (Sales site for creators with paid and free distribution available)
  • GitHub / GitLab (For engineers, but suitable for distribution and management)
  • Google Drive and Dropbox (Can be distributed by setting a public link)
  • Personal blog or website (Introduction page for the plugin + download link available)
  • note (Need to be creative for file distribution, but can be used in conjunction with the introductory article)
  • Only posting on sites/forums run by others
-> Because you cannot manage or delete it yourself
  • Distribution on Discord server only
-> Because the link is temporary and closed and difficult for other users to find
  • SNS standalone (X / Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
-> Difficult to download from postings, unsuitable as a stable distribution source
  • Temporary uploader (firestorage, Gigafile, etc.)
-> Due to the short shelf life of the file and the possibility of broken links
  • We do not check or verify the operation of plugins or other external tools created by RPGBakin users (hereinafter referred to as “user plugins”). Please apply at your own risk.
  • Users will need to contact the developer directly for any questions or guidance regarding the use of user plugins. Please note that our company does not provide support for these plugins.
  • Applicants must guarantee that the submitted user plugins are their own work, that they hold the legal rights to them, and that the plugins do not infringe upon any third-party rights (such as copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity). In the event that any issues arise with a third party regarding rights or content, the applicant will be solely responsible for resolving the matter, and our company will bear no liability. We also recommend clearly stating your terms of use and any relevant rights notices when publishing your plugin on your distribution platform.
  • Please note that our company cannot provide compensation for any malfunctions, data corruption, or other issues that may occur as a result of using user plugins.
  • User plugins, whether free or paid, are eligible to be listed on the official website.
  • On the official website, the title and description of each plugin will be featured in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese. If you provide your own translations, please include them in the application form. If our company handles the translation, please note that it will be done using an automated translation service and may be a simplified translation.
  • User plugins will be listed on the official website free of charge, and no compensation or payment will be provided for being featured.
  • Please note that submissions with incomplete information may not be listed. Additionally, we do not provide individual notifications regarding the selection or timing of listing.
  • If there are any changes to the plugin after submission, or if you wish to have it removed, please contact us through the official website’s inquiry form. Please be aware that updates or removals may take some time.
  • Any personal information provided with your submission will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

We’ll also introduce external programs, web tools, and add-ons created by fellow users to support game development with Bakin.
Please be sure to read the following notes and use them as a reference for your own game production or to add functionality.
